It is a history of lands discovered, empires built and brought down, wars won and lost, treaties signed and flouted, flavors sought and offered, and the rise and fall of different religious practices and beliefs. Pulses &Spices were among the most valuable items of trade in ancient and medieval times.
Pulses are one of the important food crops globally due to their higher protein content. Pulses are an important group of crops in India, which is also responsible for yielding large financial gains by amounting to a large part of the exports.
The country has exported 775,024.48 MT of pulses to the world for the worth of Rs. 5,397.86 Crores
Every year, India produces more than two million tones of spices. India is one of the World's first and top exporters, `for more than 40% of the global spice trade.
With a view to maintain this practice, In 2005, Dr. M.Selvaraj along with his wife Mrs.S.Kalaivani founded the company called M/S Arunnachala Impex Private Limited which ventured into Exporting/Importing of Agricultural Products. With his immense experience in local wholesale marketing, Dr. M.Selvaraj has been able to build an empire dealing with Agricultural products Apart from export/import of Agricultural products M/s Arunnachala Impex Private Limited deals with Non Agricultural Products.
M/s Arunnachala Impex Private Limited aggressively, dynamically, vigorously takes part in the Tenders floated by State Government and Central Government especially civil service department and also various International export enquires floated by Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Singapore, Myanmar, Maldives, Hong Kong.
